week-end report, week 07, 2013

Taking my shot at describing, capturing for future, further access, what I learned this week—whether I really understood it, or not.

week 07 2013, window 0013

[1] you don't know who you're talking to

You don't know what would be significant for them. Relief. Surprise. Progress. Disappointment. Connection....Which was it? What just happened there? You don't know.

[2] you have to turn it on first

Until you flip the switch and actually try it out, you don't know whether it will work. You don't know how it will feel, what it will produce, or what effect it will have on others. The product, your producing it, or your reaction to it.

Until you use it in your hands, and experience it for yourself, that way, in your hands. Until then, you don't know whether it will work. Or what working will mean to you.

[3] the save button

Sometimes my favorite moment is just that simple. Save. Call it. Decide. Exhale.

It's all going to start over, or shift completely, tomorrow anyway. Enjoy the silent click there before it passes.
